| Homegrown Music is WVIA-FM's exclusive series which each week showcases the talents of regional contemporary music artists in recordings produced in the WVIA-FM studios by series host George Graham and is broadcast Tuesdays at 9:00 PM. July features a special request edition of the program on the 19th. July 12 Scott Chasolen. Singer, songwriter and pianist Scott Chasolen is known for his work since the late 1990s with the fusion group Ulu, and has been touring the world playing keyboards with the popular Pink Floyd tribute band The Machine. Chasolen's CD Fracture from last fall was picked for the Mixed Bag weekly album review. He makes his Homegrown Music debut with a great collection of new original songs performed with the Scott Chasolen Trio.

July 19 Homegrown Music Requests. From time to time, Homegrown Music producer George Graham sets aside a program for listeners to request material from the series' 30-plus year archive. This ninety-minute special is also an opportunity for listeners to support Homegrown Music during the WVIA's summer membership drive. Listeners may phone 570-655-2808 to place requests preferably at least a day in advance. (Note: start time 8:30 PM.)

July 26 Rorie Kelly. Singer-songwriter Rorie Kelly released her
CD Wish Upon a Bottlecap in April, and it has been getting national
airplay. She makes her Homegrown Music debut in a session with her father Kevin
Kelly, performing new original material not on the CD.
